Formed in 1986 and given federal and tax-exempt status in Georgia in 1987, CHCG is the largest workplace giving program devoted exclusively to health and is an affiliate of Community Health Charities of America.  By partnering with employers like Emory, CHCG connects Georgia employees to health and wellness information, volunteer opportunities and the ability to direct donations to the health charities of their choice. Our list of trusted health charities includes 48 local agencies and more than 60 national ones.  CHCG has one full-time and two part-time staff persons, is governed by a Georgia-based Board of Directors and participates in workplace giving programs across the state.
