Georgia Shares

Georgia SharesFounded in 1992, given federal tax-exempt status in 1993 and Georgia tax-exempt status in 1995, the mission of Georgia Shares is to foster social change for all Georgians by raising funds from workplace-giving programs for its twenty member agencies whose services focus on HIV/AIDS, the arts, social change, and women's programs. Georgia Shares has one part-time staff person, and is governed by a Georgia-based board of directors that consists of a representative from member organizations and community members.
